History of Organization

The JCC Suncoast plays an integral role in Pinellas County by creating a safe environment, relevant programming for all generations, and the ability to outreach and educate the community. The JCC works in successful conjunction with other Jewish, as well as Secular, organizations enhancing and bringing together the Jewish community as a whole.  

The collaborative efforts between the North and South Center’s Boards created
The JCC Suncoast. While the two centers operated as separate entities, independent of each other for decades, the JCC’s of Pinellas County leadership realized that in light of an ever evolving Jewish community, what proved successful once before no longer could be sustained.  By joining together resources, administration and leadership there was a realization that we will be stronger together than apart. By embracing change, the JCC Suncoast moves forward to meet the future needs of Pinellas County.
