Send your child to Camp Kadima and you will be giving them a very special gift.  Not the kind of gift they'll love for a few minutes and then throw aside, but a gift that will stay with them forever.  Camp Kadima's primary priority is to promote self-esteem, teamwork, positive values, a diverse set of skills and a strong Jewish identity.  We'll give your child the tools they need to make lifelong friendships and to face life's challenges and overcome them.

Camp Kadima welcomes all children, regardless of religious affiliation, to participate in the Camp Kadima experience and to share in our rich Jewish heritage.  We are thrilled that we welcome Kindergarteners to Camp Kadima just like last year!  Now kids of all ages can participate in our remarkable summer program.

Camp groups

We are now accepting Kindergarteners!  Bring the little ones in for a Summer of fun!

CHAVERIM ("Friends") - Children entering grades 1-2

The Chaverim’s daily schedule is designed to take full advantage of each youngster’s enthusiasm, seemingly unlimited energy and abundant curiosity. They receive a constant supply of attention, direction and inspiration, which results in increased confidence, self esteem and an ever-widening view and appreciation of the world around them.

SABRA ("Native Israelis") - Children entering Grades 3-4

The Sabras never cease to amaze us with their spirit, quick wit, creativity, eagerness to challenge themselves, their ability to develop new friendships and their earnest partcipation in new experiences. Their motors never stop and neither does the fun and excitement each day at Camp Kadima.

 Camp Kadima Pirate Kids

CHALUTZIM ("Pioneers")- Children entering Grades 5 - 6

The Chalutzims’ summer is filled with events and activities that help them to mature and become role models as they transition from spirited followers to experienced camp leaders. Their unique talents and passions become increasingly clear as they share the Camp Kadima experience together.

TSOFIM ("Scouts") - Children entering Grades 7 - 8Camp Kadima Dress Up!

Tsofim campers appreciate the many different ways that the camp staff encourages them to demonstrate their independence. As the BKOC (Big Kids On Campus), these young adults take tremendous pride in planning and leading many of the camp’s special events,  but still find time in their busy day to enjoy all the many wonderful traditions and activities offered at Camp Kadima.  Camp Kadima enjoys an annual staff retention rate well above 90%, with many of its counselors having attended a JCC camp as campers. Each staff member is required to participate in comprehensive staff training prior to the camp season.

Camp Kadima CIT Program

The CIT Program is a comprehensive and enriching experience that prepares its participants for life during, and beyond camp.  This highly selective program is available to indivuduals entering the 9th grade in 2012 and is a prerequistie to being offered a paid staff position.  We want you to become a part of the "J" Team!  Call to register at (727) 321-6100.

Our Staff

Our Camp Kadima staff is the best resource for creating a positive experience for our campers.  The overwhelming majority of Camp Kadima counselors have attended a JCC Camp as a camper or a CIT.  Each staff member is require to participate in comprehensive staff training prior to the beginning of camp.
